Federal and local authorities achieved a major blow against organized crime after conducting five simultaneous raids in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, where nine people allegedly linked to various high-impact crimes were arrested. According to information disseminated by the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico through social media, the operation involved elements of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the National Guard, as well as capital corporations.
